Introductory Courses

  • Multiple sections of Introductory Biology I (MB&B 181) and the accompanying lab (MB&B 191) are taught every Fall. More information on this course is available here.
  • Multiple sections of Introductory Chemistry I (CHEM 141, CHEM 143) are taught every Fall.
  • Introductory Biology II (MB&B 182) and multiple sections of the accompanying lab (MB&B 192) are taught every Spring.
  • Multiple sections of Introductory Chemistry II (CHEM 142, CHEM 144) are taught every Spring.
  • Multiple sections of the Introductory Chemistry lab (CHEM 152) are taught every semester.
  • MB&B 181, MB&B 182, CHEM 141, CHEM 142, and CHEM 152 are often available during the summer session.

Intermediate Courses

  • Molecular Biology (MB&B 208) is taught every Fall.
  • Research Frontiers in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry (MB&B 209) is usually taught in Spring.
  • Multiple sections of Organic Chemistry I (CHEM 251) are taught every Fall.
  • Multiple sections of Organic Chemistry II (CHEM 252) are taught every Spring.

Advanced Courses

  • Multiple sections of Biochemistry (MB&B 383) are taught every Fall, and some Springs.
  • Physical Chemistry for the Life Sciences (MB&B 381) is taught every year, usually in the Spring.
  • The Advanced Lab in Molecular Biology and Genetics (MB&B 394) is taught every Spring.
  • The Advanced Lab in Structural Biology (MB&B 395) is taught every other Fall.
