Below are the available dates for Summer Session 2019.
- Undergraduate Summer Sessions I and II
February 1, 2019: Financial aid opens - Wesleyan students only
February 22, 2019, noon: Deadline to apply for aid and receive award before registration opens
February 26, 2019: Financial aid awards for students who applied by 2/22/19
March 6, 2019: Full registration opening
April 5, 2019: Deadline for all International non-Wesleyan students to apply
April 19, 2019: Deadline for International non-Wesleyan student I-20-related paperwork to be received in office
April 19, 2019 (NOON): Deadline to apply for financial aid
April 19, 2019: Priority deadline to request housing
April 19, 2019: Deadline to request meal plan (meal plans available for Session II only)
April 23, 2019: Financial aid awards for students who applied after 2/22/19
May 10, 2019: Deadline to drop course(s) and receive a full refund
May 24, 2019: Deadline for Local Community Scholars to apply for Session I
May 28, 2019: Housing Move-In for Session I students
May 29, 2019: Session I: First Day of class
May 29, 2019: Registration Closes
May 29, 2019: One day drop/add period: dropped classes will not appear on transcript
May 29, 2019 (11:59PM): Deadline to drop course(s) in either Session I or Session II and owe only a $500 per session withdrawal penalty
June 21, 2019: Deadline to withdraw from a Summer Session I class with a "W" on the transcript; after this date a letter grade will be assigned
June 24, 2019: Deadline for Local PreCollege and Community Scholars to apply for Session II
June 25, 2019: Session I classes end
June 26-27, 2019: Session I exam period
June 28, 2019: Session I Housing move-out, except for students continuing on to Session II
June 30, 2019: Housing move-in for other students in Session II
July 1, 2019: Session II classes begin
July 1, 2019: Registration closes
July 1, 2019: One day add/drop period; dropped classes will not appear on transcript
July 4, 2019: NO CLASSES
July 25, 2019: Last day to withdraw from Summer Session II classes with a "W" on transcript; after this date a letter grade will be assigned
July 29, 2019: Session II classes end
July 30-31, 2019: Session II exam period

Final Exam Schedule
Before you finalize your travel plans to and from campus, please review the Summer Session final exam schedule below. You may be able to leave campus a day or two early (For Session I, classes end June 25; exams are held June 26/27. For Session II, classes end July 29; exams are held July 30/31). Some instructors may require that a final paper be handed in during exam week, but often these can be sent via email.
