Application for Summer Session Grant Aid

If you are currently receiving Wesleyan grant funds and are thinking of registering for Summer Session, you are encouraged to apply for financial aid. Applying for aid does not commit you to taking a course; it simply allows you to know what aid you can expect so that you can make an informed decision.

Application Process

  1. Apply for grant aid using the form at the end of the page
    1. If you cannot see the form, you have a personal google account open. Please close it, log out of Portal, clear your browser history, reopen your browser and log back into Portal.
  2. Applications will be reviewed twice during the spring:
    1. Students who apply by noon, March 22 will receive awards March 26, 2021
    2. Students who apply between noon, March 22 and noon April 15, 2021 will receive awards April 19, 2021
    3. There are no exceptions to these deadlines
  3. Accept your award by registering for Summer Session
    1. You must pay the difference between the $3,700 per credit tuition and your award when you register
  4. If you are interested in using student loans to pay for Summer Session, please contact your financial aid officer before registering

Important Dates:

  • First aid award: March 26, 2021
  • Registration opens: March 30, 2021
  • Final deadline to apply for aid: noon April 15, 2021
  • Deadline to withdraw and receive a full refund: May 6, 2021
  • Deadline to withdraw and owe only a $500 per session withdrawal penalty: May 28, 2021
  • No refunds for withdrawal: after May 28, 2021

Grant Aid Eligibility:

To apply for aid, you must currently be receiving Wesleyan grant funds. Need-based grant funds are limited and students should also expect to consider student loans.

Tuition for Summer Session 2021 is $3,700 per credit.
