Dear Prospective Sociology Major,

Thank you for your interest in pursuing a major in Sociology. All requests for enrollment in the major must be approved by the Sociology Department faculty.

All prospective applicants to the major are required to do the following:

The meeting is mandatory for sociology major applicants who have submitted the on-line major registration request and open to all other prospective sociology majors. Students will meet the Sociology Department faculty and learn about major requirements, study abroad, honors requirements, and more. Pizza lunch will be served.

2. After the Open House, please submit the "major advisor request form" that may be obtained from the Sociology Administrative Staff (Sharon Smith & Anika Milik) during regular business hours from the Sociology Department Office located on the first floor of the Public Affairs Center.
