Dear Wesleyan Students:

It is my pleasure to welcome each of you to the campus for the 2009-2010 academic year.  I extend an especially warm welcome to the newest members of our community, the Class of 2013 and transfer, visiting, and exchange students.  Liberal learning is the cornerstone of a Wesleyan education.  To that end, I encourage you to engage in academic pursuits across the curriculum, to take advantage of co-curricular opportunities outside the classroom, and to participate in the many social, cultural, and athletic activities that make Wesleyan truly unique.

I hope that each of you will achieve your goals, contribute to our community, and have lots of fun along the way.

Best wishes for the upcoming year,

Rick Culliton

Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs

Dean of Students
