TUITION AND AID

Tuition

Tuition for Summer 2012 is $2,700 per course and $5,400 per institute.

Residency Fee (optional) for Summer 2012 is $885 for an air-conditioned double room or $1,100 for an air-conditioned single room.
  
Financial Aid

A limited amount of financial aid will be available to Wesleyan University students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents.  Funding limitations will not allow us to meet full demonstrated need for the Summer Session.  Students may have federal and/or alternate loan options available for the Summer Session.

To apply for financial aid:

  • Students must complete the Summer Session financial aid application form and send it to the Summer Session office at 74 Wyllys Avenue.
    • The form will only be available through undergraduate student e-portfolios, from February 14 through March 27, 2012.
  • Families must complete the financial aid application for returning students by March 27, 2012 (http://www.wesleyan.edu/finaid/forms/1112UCchecklist.pdf).
  • The deadline for completed financial aid applications is March 27, 2012. 
  • Students who have requested financial aid will be notified on April 16 about any financial aid awards.


Payments

Register by March 27: 
Wesleyan students who register for Summer Session courses by Tuesday, March 27 will be billed for Summer Session tuition at the end of March, with full payment due (minus any financial aid awarded) Friday, April 27.  Students whose balance is not paid in full by April 27 will be considered to have effectively withdrawn from Summer Session classes.
 
Register after March 27: 
Wesleyan students who register after March 27 must provide payment in full at the time of registration.  The University accepts check, wire, or pre-payment through the e-Billing system.

  • Refunds

Withdraw by April 27: Tuition refunded 100%
Withdraw April 28 - May 30: Tuition refunded minus $500 withdrawal penalty
Withdraw after May 30: No refund
 

  • Monthly Payment Plan:

 Monthly payment plans are not available for Summer Session.
