Tuition Increase for 2026-2027 Academic Year

The Wesleyan Board of Trustees voted to increase tuition by 4.8 percent for the 2026-27 academic year, to $75,916. The Residential Comprehensive Fee (RCF) will be $21,660. The Student Activity Fee will be $404, while the Green Fund Fee will be $50 annually. The total cost of attendance will be $100,780 for sophomores, juniors, and seniors, which includes books, supplies, and personal expenses. For first-year students, an additional new student matriculation fee of $300 will apply. On average, Wesleyan students receive grants totaling $69,744.

The University announced in September 2023 that it would meet all demonstrated financial need and no longer include loans as part of its financial aid packages. In the 2025-26 academic year, 41 percent of students received institutional need-based aid totaling over $90 million.

“We know that the cost of a college education weighs heavily on families, and we take that seriously," said President Michael S. Roth '78. "That's why we meet 100% of every student's demonstrated financial need—because the world needs more Wesleyan thinkers and creators, and we are committed to making sure cost is never what stands between a student and this experience."
