People

Our close-knit community fosters strong relationships among passionate faculty, staff, and students. Undergraduates don’t just learn from faculty and graduate students—they are mentored by them, creating a collaborative environment where they gain hands-on experience and develop real-world skills.

Graduate Students

Staff

Students gather around a table with laptops and notebooks in a bright, book-filled library room.

Collaborative Research

Our faculty and graduate students actively engage in research projects exploring planet formation, x-ray binary populations, transiting exoplanets, local interstellar medium, interdisciplinary studies with the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, planetary science, galaxy formation theory, black holes, active galactic nuclei, and more. Researchers are always open to collaborative conversation and answering questions about their work.
