Funding for Faculty Initiatives

The Allbritton Center for the Study of Public Life supports faculty initiatives through several sources of funding:

Requests for Proposals go out in November and February.

University Lectures and Programs supports proposals for University Lectures and Programs that deepen civic engagement, foster social awareness, and enrich the study and practice of public life.

Collaborative Networks encourage faculty to work together over extended periods of time on shared intellectual interests. One grant per semester will be awarded to networks that further faculty collaboration, especially across departmental lines.

Micro Grants  invites proposals for micro grants that foster civic engagement, encourage social responsibility, and deepen the exploration and understanding of public life.
