Collaborative Networks

The Allbritton Center for the Study of Public Life

We welcome proposals for Collaborative Networks. Networks encourage faculty to work together over extended periods of time n shared intellectual interests. One grant per semester will be awarded to networks that further faculty collaboration, especially across departmental lines. Networks that include students are particularly appealing. Networks must include at least two faculty member from two different departments. The program's vision is to initiate durable , lasting collaboration among faculty rather than to sponsor a single , isolated event. Preference is given to networks whose focus aligns with Allbritton's mission to deepen civic engagement, foster social awareness, and enrich the study and practice of public life.
