Hey Middletown! Did you know that on Saturday, October 14 at about 1:30pm, we're getting a little glimpse of solar eclipse? The Sun will look like a cookie with a bite taken out of one side (about 20% eclipsed). You can watch (safely, please!) from anywhere in Middletown that can see the Sun, but if you'd like to join Russell Library and Wesleyan's Van Vleck Observatory, please come out to Foss Hill for a pair of eclipse glasses, a peek through our solar telescopes, and a chance to talk about eclipses with astronomy students (in English or en Español... your choice)!
