The Fries Center organizes a range of fellowships events throughout the year. Check back on this page to find the details on upcoming events about fellowships, both in person and online.

Events include:

  • information sessions
  • online webinars
  • panels with fellowships alumni and successful applicants
  • summer writing groups on Zoom
  • tabling to promote awareness of fellowship opportunities on campus
  • visits to campus clubs and groups

Come learn about prestigious scholarships that fund graduate study all over the world. We will discuss the differences between different programs and what makes a good fit. This is a great general overview and will also touch on specific scholarship opportunities through the Marshall, Mitchell, Churchill, Gates Cambridge, and Rhodes Scholarships in the UK and Ireland and the Yenching and Schwarzman programs in China.
