Tuesday, November 10: Registration opens

November 16 at NOON: Deadline to sign up for housing (for winter dining information visit the Dining website).

On or before Friday, December 11: Courses with low enrollment will be cancelled

Friday, December 11 (noon): Registration closes. A $100 late transaction fee will be charged for dropping, adding, swapping or withdrawing from a course after noon on December 11.

Monday, January 4: Deadline to drop and receive 100% tuition reversal ($100 late transaction fee applies)

Monday, January 4: Deadline to drop course and have no record of it appear on transcript

Tuesday, January 5: Winter Session classes begin

Monday, January 5: University housing opens for Winter Session (available only to students with prior approval and spring housing)

Tuesday, January 5: Deadline to drop and receive 75% tuition reversal ($100 late transaction fee applies)

Thursday, January 14: For Winter Session courses in which students have a choice of grading mode, the final choice must be made by 5 p.m.

Friday, January 15: Last day to withdraw from a Winter Session class and earn a grade of W

Monday, January 18: Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Most University offices closed. Class will be held as scheduled.

Monday, January 18: Winter Session classes end

Tuesday, January 19: Winter Session reading day

Wednesday, January 20: Winter session examinations

Thursday, January 21: Spring classes begin

Wednesday, February 3: Winter session grades due

The library hours for the Winter Session 2027 will be posted on the Library’s website. Please note that the library will be closed on MLK Day, January 18, 2026.
