DANC 111 “Introduction to Dance” and other beginning dance students perform works of various styles, including Afro-Brazilian dances of the Orixás, under the direction of Associate Professor and Chair of the Dance Department Katja Kolcio, Visiting Assistant Professor of Dance Joya Powell, and Associate Professor of the Practice in Dance Iddi Saaka.
