Established in May 2011 through a gift from the Robert ’61 and Margaret Patricelli Family Foundation, and with the ongoing support of Propel Capital and other generous donors, the Patricelli Center for Social Entrepreneurship supports Wesleyan student entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, and changemakers.
We offer classes, grants, and advising to help students:
- build problem-solving mindsets and skill sets
- gain creative confidence and competence
- develop comfort with ambiguity
- translate theory to practice
The Patricelli Center is situated within Allbritton, the hub of civic engagement at Wesleyan. We collaborate closely with the Center for the Study of Public Life, the Jewett Center for Community Partnerships, Service-Learning, the Civic Engagament Minor, and the Sustainability Office to work towards Wesleyan's Civic Action Plan.
