The Financial Aid Office supports current students continuing to apply or those applying for the first time for financial aid. Wesleyan’s need-based financial aid program allows us to meet 100% of the demonstrated financial need of all undergraduate students who seek financial assistance.

Recent Changes to Federal Student Loans

Significant changes in federal student loan programs are coming. Provisions resulting from the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBB)  legislation are effective July 1, 2026.

    Wesleyan does not offer merit-based financial aid (however, you can apply scholarships you have received from other sources to reduce certain college costs). Wesleyan’s need-based aid can include work study and grants.

    Continuing our efforts to improve the affordability and accessibility of higher education, starting in the fall of 2024 Wesleyan will no longer include loans as part of our financial aid packages.
