Guidelines for Filming on Wesleyan’s Campus

In general, Wesleyan does not permit independent or commercial filming on its campus in order to avoid disrupting educational activities. In rare circumstances, the Office of Communications may make exceptions for news media seeking to highlight the work of students, faculty, or staff.

In general, there will be no charge for news media other than offsetting any costs incurred by the university.

Please seek permission from Media and Public Relations (media@wesleyan.edu), in the Office of Communications at least two weeks prior to filming date. Additional advanced notice is always appreciated.
