Spring 2026 OISA Advising Services & Office Hours
The Office of International Student Affairs (OISA) staff work Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. EST. Our office is closed on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and designated holidays.
During the Spring 2026 Semester, we are offering in-person and virtual drop-in advising hours (no appointment required) from January 22nd through May 28th on the following days and times:
- Mondays, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. EST: IN-PERSON AT OISA (Fisk 105)
- Tuesdays, 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. EST: IN-PERSON AT OISA (Fisk 105)
- Wednesdays, 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. EST: VIRTUAL ON ZOOM: https://wesleyan.zoom.us/j/93167124777?from=addon
- Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. EST: IN-PERSON AT OISA (Fisk 105)

OISA's Advising Services
OISA professional staff provide immigration advising services for international students studying at Wesleyan in F-1 and J-1 visa status. We also advise all self-identifying international students on non-immigration aspects of their experience at Wes—such as matters related to cultural adjustment, equity and inclusion, and practical needs like housing—and refer them to campus partners and resources as appropriate.
Drop-in advising
Drop-in advising hours are for short consultations that typically last 5-15 minutes. We offer in-person and virtual drop-in advising services each week during the fall and spring semesters. We expect you to review our website before utilizing our drop-in advising services and come prepared with specific questions related to your situation. Drop-in advising services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Appointments
Advising appointments are longer consultations for complex immigration or other international student matters that typically last 20-30 minutes. OISA professional staff offer appointments by request on Fridays between the hours of 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. EST.
To request an appointment, please send an email to oisa@wesleyan.edu with your full name, WesID, details of your situation, availability during the two Friday appointment time slots listed above, and preference for in-person or virtual advising. Please make your appointment request at least 24 hours in advance of your desired consultation time. We expect you to review our website for relevant guidance and come to your appointment prepared with specific questions related to your situation.
