Sustainability Careers Initiative

The Sustainability Careers Initiative is a new program of the Gordon Career Center in partnership with the Sustainability Office of the Bailey College of the Environment. This initiative is launching in response to student feedback on the difficulty of beginning a job search in a sustainability-related field. 

The Sustainability Careers Initiative is a selective, semester- or year-long program (which can including summer break) targeted at rising sophomores and juniors from any major, who are interested in pursuing sustainability-related careers post-graduation. Through this program, you’ll: 

• Get personalized support and connection from Gordon Career Center staff on resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, and interviewing
• Learn effective ways to reach out to alumni and professionals in your field of interest
• Be connected with Wesleyan alumni working in your sustainability field of interest
• Find internship and sustainability-related career opportunities
• Be part of a small group with similar career interests
