The Wesleyan Carillon was established in 2005 when the university expanded the instrument from a chime with the addition of eight new bells.  Now a two-octave carillon comprised of 24 bells, the instrument’s music is enjoyed by the campus community every day.  Bell & Scroll, a student organization established in 2000, plays the bells daily during the academic year at the noon hour and invites interested passersby to climb the steps to visit the playing console, and learn more about the Carillon.
