Summer Program

ABOUT

Wesleyan Summer Session is an intensive learning experience:

  • 13-week course in 5 weeks
  • Very small classes
  • Close relationships with faculty and students
  • Immersive study and concentrated focus

Summer Session offers courses across Wesleyan’s curriculum, including popular gateway courses and special
2-course Thematic Institutes that are available during the summer only. Wesleyan is renowned for its exceptional faculty and “small liberal arts college” experience. Summer Session, with its very small classes and compressed schedule, is Wesleyan concentrated.

Summer Session 2011: May 31 through July 1.

To round out this five-week academic experience, Wesleyan Summer Session will offer activities outside the classroom, such as picnics, performances, and movies for summer students. Downtown Middletown, only two blocks from campus, boasts a wide array of restaurants, coffeehouses and boutiques, as well as a 12-screen cinema. Wadsworth Falls State Park, also within walking distance, offers hiking and biking trails.
