Chemistry Minor
The Chemistry Minor gives students a strong foundation in the chemical sciences while building critical thinking and problem-solving skills. It is particularly well suited for students preparing for graduate programs in medicine or other health-related fields.
Minor Requirements
- CHEM 141 & 142 - General Chemistry I & II *
- CHEM 152 - Introductory Chemistry Lab **
- CHEM 251 & 252 - Organic Chemistry I & II
- CHEM 257 - Intermediate Chemistry Lab
- CHEM 258 - Organic Chemistry Lab
- One 300-level elective chemistry course
* Honors General Chemistry or prematriculation credit may substitute for CHEM 141/142.
** CHEM 152 is waived for students using advanced placement to enroll in CHEM 251.
