I have played
varsity lacrosse since
freshman year and sophomore year
played
varsity soccer. I
spend the fall of my junior year
studying abroad in
Copenhagen, Denmark in the
Medical Practice and Policy
Program of DIS. I was on
the
Wesleyan Student Assembly
during sophomore year and served
on the Educational Policy
Committee for the year.
Additionally, I am a member of
the
Students for Social Justice,,
which runs an annual 3 v. 3
soccer tournament to support
Grassroot Soccer and other
various fundraising events. |
OUTSIDE
WESLEYAN:
|
After my
freshman year I volunteered in
the Psychiatric Unit at
Darthmouth Hitchcock Medical
Center and worked for the New
England Center for Emergency
Preparedness. During
summer 2008 I
interned for Grounds for
Health, a women's international
health organization based in
Vermont. For summer 2009,
I volunteered in the ER at
Bellevue Hospital in NYC through
the Project Healthcare Program.
Additionally, I have catered for
Dartmouth College, worked at a
French bakery, and coached
lacrosse over the past three
summers. |
AFTER
WESLEYAN:

I plan to take a few years off
and work before applying to
medical school. |
