Graduate Housing

Welcome to the Graduate Housing website from the Office of Residential Life at Wesleyan University!

As an extension of the Wesleyan University mission to have University housing at the center of student's academic and social lives, we are proud to offer a limited number of graduate housing spaces on campus. To satisfy the various needs of this community, the Office of Residential Life offers housing in the form of one and two-person units, group apartments, and family units. In conjunction with the Office of Graduate Student Services, both offices will continue to develop a safe and academically stimulating living environment for graduate students at Wesleyan.

If you are a recently accepted graduate student or a Wesleyan graduate student that has not lived on campus and would like to inquire about graduate housing, you need to complete the Graduate Housing Application.

The priority deadline for submitting the Graduate Housing Application is May 1. Students can continue to submit the application following the deadline, as applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

Due to the limited availability of housing, priority will be given to students in the following order:

  • newly arriving, international graduate students
  • newly arriving domestic graduate students from outside of the New England/Tri-State area
  • current graduate students who experience a change in status via marriage or birth which necessitates a different housing accommodation
  • BA/MA students will be housed after the above have been accommodated

Bedding and kitchen utensils are not provided furnished nor unfurnished units.
