Museum Internships
DAC museum internships enable Wesleyan students to gain valuable hands-on experience with museum operations. Museum interns work directly with the DAC Collection.
Each year several students are selected to be museum interns. If you're a Wesleyan undergraduate, please contact a DAC staff person for more information.
DAC interns assist with diverse museum projects in such areas as exhibition research, collections inventory, descriptive cataloging, answering research queries, assisting visiting scholars during private viewings, and matting and hinging works of art on paper.
In addition to the museum's ongoing program of student internships, once every several years DAC staff invite a student to work during the summer as a Jim Dine Curatorial Intern.
