Friends of the DAC
Since its founding in 1962, the primary mission of the Friends of the Davison Art Center has been to fund acquisitions for the DAC collection. The FDAC consists of Wesleyan University faculty, staff, alumni, and students, Connecticut residents, and other friends of the arts devoted to the growth and public enjoyment of the DAC collection, one of the finest university collections of graphic art in the United States. The FDAC also has an active program of events for members.
How to Join the FDAC
What do you get for joining? Above all, the satisfaction of knowing that most of our membership contributions support the acquisition of important works for the DAC collection. With a volunteer Board of Directors and minimal overhead expense, the FDAC directs an unusually high percentage of its income to this purpose. As an FDAC member, you'll also receive:
- Invitations to members-only parties, trips, and other events
- Invitations to gallery talks at the DAC
- A free exhibition publication in many membership years
- And all DAC exhibition announcements
