Career Resources

The Gordon Career Center is operating virtually.  Graduate students are encouraged to take the following steps:

  1. Update your career interests and complete your profile on Handshake for more personalized recommendations and to increase your likelihood of employers reaching out to you directly on the platform.

  2. Mark your calendars for employer events, ask-me-anything sessions, and any of the other 50+ virtual events scheduled (and don’t forget to check back often as we are continuing to add new programs).

  3. Schedule a Graduate Student Career Advising (MA/PhD) appointment to meet with a professional career advisor and get a jumpstart on post-grad planning. At this time, priority will be given to undergraduates (including BA/MA) and graduate students close to finishing their graduate degrees.

  4. Enroll in Career Decisions: From Insight to Impact, our free, online, at-your-own-pace course that will help you learn about unconscious influences on your decision-making and help you define what career success means to you.

  5. Visit the Gordon Career Center's website wesleyan.edu/careercenter, explore theri digital resource library on Handshake, and connect with them on Facebook.

  6. Reach out to the Gordon Career Center via phone 860-685-2180 or email careercenter@wesleyan.edu if you have any questions or need help getting started.
