Personal Payments

E-Check

E-Check is a convenient, online way to debit a bank account directly.  This can be accomplished utilizing the Wesleyan E-Billing system.

Personal Check or Money Order

The University accepts personal checks and money orders, which should be made payable to "Wesleyan University."  List the student's name and Wesleyan ID on the front of the check.  Please send your payment (along with the payment stub) to our lockbox in Hartford.  The address is printed on the bill that you can download and print from the E-Billing website by clicking the white PDF icon on the "Current Statement" page.  If you do not have the payment stub, please send the payment directly to the Student Accounts Office, 237 High Street, Middletown, Ct  06459.

Credit Cards

Wesleyan University does not accept credit card payments for undergraduate or graduate student bills.

Wire Transfers

Please contact the Student Accounts Office directly at student-accounts@wesleyan.edu for information relating to wire transfers.

In-Person Cash Payments

U.S. currency is only accepted in-person at the Student Accounts Office.  Payment by cash requires that the payee provide photo ID and completion of IRS form 8300.

Payment Plan and Loans

There are alternative options to the lump sum payments on the semester due dates. Information about these options is available from the Student Accounts Office (for the Monthly Payment Plan) or the Financial Aid Office (for loans) or can be found online at: www.wesleyan.edu/finaid/financing/financing.html

Monthly Payment Plan

This is an interest-free, 10-month plan administered by Tuition Management Systems (TMS). The plan begins August 1 for the academic year beginning in September with payment due the first of every month through May.  There is a $65 application fee.  TMS accepts payment by check, auto-debit or credit card.  To print the 2012-13 budget information for the application click here
