New Vistas: Watercolors by John Martin

Friday October 20, 2000 - Friday December 8, 2000

After a full career as an architect, Wesleyan Professor of Art John Martin (1921-1999) began a new career in painting. He traveled extensively in Rhode Island, New Mexico, Europe, and the Mediterranean, capturing the qualities of the many places he loved. This exhibition highlighted the breadth and beauty of his work.
