Blue Light Phones and Locations

To assist members of the Wesleyan community in the reporting of criminal actions or to reach assistance as quickly as possible the campus is dotted with “Blue-Light Phones.” 

To activate a Blue Light Phone to call Public Safety: Locate a Blue Light Phone on campus and follow the instructions on the phone. There are several different models of these phones in use. The Office of Public Safety advises that you familiarize yourself with the locations and the use of these phones in advance of an emergency. The phones report directly to Public Safety when the “emergency” button is pushed. The phones may also be used in a non-emergency mode.

The Public Safety emergency and/or non-emergency numbers appear in the following publications: Faculty/Staff Directory, Student Directory, and Handbook for Wesleyan Parents, Student Handbook, and publications distributed by the Wesleyan Student Assembly.
