Pathways to Science
A program that invites kids in the Middletown and surrounding community on campus to experience and explore all that science has to offer. Activities include Space Nights at the observatory, visiting the Joe Webb Peoples Museum, lab tours, and discipline specific workshops, games, and other activities.

Astronomy Kids' Nights Schedule Fall 2025
Join us for kid-friendly space-related activities led by Wesleyan students, including stargazing with the campus telescopes when it's clear. Aimed at elementary school ages, but open to all.
All Kids’ Nights are held on Fridays at 7pm at Van Vleck Observatory. This event is rain or shine; telescopes are weather dependent.
October 3rd, November 7th, & December 5th. Free registration is required through Middletown Parks and Rec.
The Joe Webb Peoples Museum of Natural History houses a collection of fossils, dinosaur footprints, and minerals. 4th Floor, Exley Science Center, 265 Church Street
When classes are in session: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
